Transforming a once bland lower-level Pool Room into an inviting entertainment haven, this project harmoniously blends the clients' passions with a more cohesive and vibrant design. The homeowners, long-time residents of a mid-century modern gem, sought to infuse warmth into their pool room and find a solution for their cherished wine collection. The recent addition of an upright piano further enriched the room's potential.
Inspired by the existing colorful jazz festival posters, we embarked on a comprehensive redesign to create an inviting and balanced space.

• Warm Metallic Wallcovering - Introduced to add depth and a subtle sheen, enhancing the room's ambiance.

• Custom Drapery - Soft, tailored drapery installed to provide warmth and acoustic benefits, complementing the room's aesthetic.

• Upgraded Lighting - Implemented new fixtures to improve illumination and highlight design elements, creating a welcoming atmosphere.

• Reframed Jazz Posters - vibrant posters were artistically reframed, transforming them into focal points that celebrate the clients' love for these frequently attended festivals over the years. 

• Walk-In Wine Storage - In collaboration with the clients' trusted contractor, we designed a glass-enclosed wine room, showcasing their extensive collection as a main feature of the space.

This thoughtful transformation not only reflects the clients' lifestyle and interests but also elevates the functionality and enjoyment of their home.
